Are you lost like me Are you incomplete Are you on your knees Just like me? Are you down so low Have you lost control Hoping no one knows? Trust me I know Maybe you could be the one I'm needing Maybe you could be the one I call Maybe we could be one heart beating After all Are you up all night Hurtin' deep inside Runnin' for your life? And the kids won't tell ya What the kids all know They'll knock you down And leave you for sure Little Johnny and little Suzie Cut you down so deep That you can't see straight Maybe you could be the one I'm needing Maybe you could be the one I call Maybe we could be one heart beating After all

The blood is pumping All through my veins I feel it rushing That burning flame I look around And I know I’m home The wind is blowin’ Out on the street Where anything goes You could be my girl You never know Out on the street The people shout Bum cigarettes Chase luck around And play pretend We’ll live forever If we don’t sleep The night’s not over It’s almost 3 Buzz in my head I’m so alive Soon I’ll be dead I don’t know nothin’ But tonight I’m free I feel like something

about

The Vice Rags are a breath of fresh New Jersey Turnpike air. A rock n roll band that’s willing to give you the unvarnished truth, complete with three chords and a deadly hook, just the way you like it.

Though they're new to the scene, this Asbury Park-based band of Garden State natives has been a long time coming. Paul Rosevear (vocals/guitar) and Joe Chyb (drums) grew up together in the suburb of North Brunswick. Ten miles west, Jack Roberts (guitar) and Gay Elvis (bass/vocals) grew up together in the suburb of Hillsborough. Twenty years later, the two halves came together and The Vice Rags were born.

The late, great Tom Petty once sang, “Anything that’s rock n roll’s fine.” That about sums up the Rags’ attitude. If the music’s in your heart too, come along as they proudly wave the flag and humbly carry the torch—at least for a little while, before they spontaneously combust.
